hillo. good day to you! i am garriel a new spanish student from Philippines and yosécomohablartreslenguascomofilipino, inglés y cebuano) and i want to know Spanish that is why i study so hard, but without the opinion of of others and your help i cannot do this by my own, so i wrote this letter or questions to ask from you a clarification regarding my ongoing lesson in Spanish !( i preferred specially Spanish teachers).

I am still in basic now and i am using the book of john kennethleslie from north western university and his book entitled spanish for conversation-- a beginning grammar. and each of his lesson has a questions but written in Spanish.. so that i can understand it i translated it on my own!

here is a story entitled

**En la clase y después de la clase**

from his book( from the author)

questions:

  1. If you will be the one to translate how would it be?(so that i can compare it with mine?) and why?

2.for the text i bold above. i noticed that the author used 3rd person singular and sometimes 3rd person plural from the different verbs used above from its conjugations. is he correct and why? and notice also that he uses preguntas and ejercicios in different way ,how did he do this? are this nouns which denotes idea? why he doesn't use 3rd person sing. or plural?

if we are going to translate it word by word in english it would results like this:

buenos días -- dice el profesor (trans: good morning -- he say the profesor.)

buenos días -- dicen los alumnos (trans: good morning--they say the students)

please make any clarification from this!

  1. how would you translate the following listed below assuming that you are telling a story and you ask these questions after the story telling!

is there any questions ? (addressing to many persons)

do you have a questions? (addressing to one and many persons)

what is your answer? (addressing to one and many persons)

from the text or word i bolded above how would you translate it ?would you use conjugation which is the 3rd person sing. or plural or you use noun? why?

  1. am i correct in my grammar composition and translations?please make any necessary correction and comments or additional info. thanks...

¿vive usted en tejas? do you live in texas?(addressing to one person)
