I'm pretty sure "broken bones" is pretty accurate. Maybe in this context it means "rough-housing"?

I noticed it wasn´t on SpanishDict's translation machine.
I tried google translate, and I got "yard," and "bonecrusher."
I don´t know why it said yard, but "bonecrusher" makes sense, since romper=to break and hueso=bone.
Unfortunately, I don´t have too much context to be able to give you a guaranteed answer. Could you provide us with a little more info on the context?
