Pepito joke

Yes, pepito jokes are very popular in Mexico. I wish I knew a few, but I don't. I am going to ask a few friends from Mexico to post a few more here in this thread.

Thanks for the jokes, guys. The construction of the dialogue (like in English jokes, too) is a bit different from what I usually see and seems like the way real people talk, so it's nice to study them.

I have a couple questions on some sentence construction, though. I thought that I knew just about all uses of "que," but then some new ones popped up. Also, I hear it in this manner a lot, too, but I can't quite peg down the meaning. Here is an example

-No me da la gana. -¡Que te pegaré!

What's the meaning here? Is it kind of a way of insinuating "you better" in English? I'm looking for more examples but can't find them right now. Annnnnd, sorry for slightly hijacking the thread. Gracias!

its like saying..you better stop...im going to hit you!!!! - Rey_Mysterio, Apr 12, 2012
This "que" i believe is the same as in "que lastima" or other exclamations. And as Hecho says above, "that I will hit you" in english "or I will hit you". - gringojrf, Apr 12, 2012
Gracias para las respuestas, hombres! I know the world of "que" is gigantic, but I gotta keep learning! Hecho, "Hijacking" es decir "secuestrando" a thread in a different direction from the main point. Como un avión, ja. - RedLine55, Apr 12, 2012
