Learning English

Question

I have two friends that just moved here. One is from Nicaragua and the other is from Honduras. Both of them have very limited funds, so I would like to know another good site, besides this one, to learn English. This one is great, but I think they need a little more. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ask them (Or you can help them) to go to the Public Library and find out if they offer a free Internet based Language Program. Most public libraries have these systems and you can learn any language from the comfort of your home and at your own speed. My library has one called "Mango" and it is great!

There's quite a few if you google "learn english". They should look at them all and see which one works best for them. Libraries also have courses and some have "conversation" classes. Most people I have talked to said they learned by watching TV.
