You could say. Voy por unos tragos esta noche. O Voy a tomar esta noche

...a tomar ' seems to predominate, will go with that....unless there is some crazy spanish saying like "choking the cobra" or something. Then I will go with that, hmm, how do you say choking the cobra? I like spanish dichos, they are gritty and outside. - Keitho, Apr 6, 2012
