how do i say " i would rather" in spanish?? I think it is "preferiría" am i right?

actually, It might depend on the context If you want to use the imperfect, prefería, I think it would be appropriate in most cases. For example "Prefería beber café" , " I would rather drink coffee." - soben, Apr 4, 2012

I think it would be appropriate to use the imperfect , prefería, in many cases. For example "Prefería beber café" , " I would rather drink coffee."
