Are any of these sentences improper?

"Nos sobra mucho pan todavía." "Nos sobra caliente pan todavía." "Nos sobra tiene pan todavía."

Is there anything wrong with any of these? One of them is the correct answer (it was a fill-in-the-blank; the original sentence was "Nos sobra ______ pan todavía"). The right one is the first one, but why?

Try translating the verb "sobra." It might give you a hint as to why "mucho" would be right!
