Pierna de cordero which is the lower part of the animal's leg.

  • It could be translated as Chuleta de cordero, but this translation is closer to ""ribs""

Lamb shank is the lower part of the leg, as Fallaron says. It does not include the valuable shoulder or rump. It is tradicionally prepared as a stew and is very tasty, it requires cooking for some time, normally in a casserole dish in the oven.
