Is anybody else experiencing the same thing?
I have been trying to reply or send a message to another member, but the page never loads and I get stuck in it. Is something not quite right with S.D. today? I already tried two different computers connected to two different networks and it is the same issue!

I just checked mine and it's the same problem you're having Farallon.
Yeah, same was happening to me, luckly the comment that I was trying to make was pretty mediocre so I wasn't that bothered...
Yes, Farallon. Messages are taking forever to post. Do not try to post twice because it usually works the first time although you don't get a confirmation.

I was experiencing a lot of timeouts, starting yesterday, so something is definitely up with the site.
I have the same problem yesterday I open three pages as a home page FB, Youtube and SD yesterday this Site was needing some Oxygin to work , the others were very fast .I think that there must be technical problem , or simply just a virus passed by.
Today, for some reason, two of my answers posted twice. This has never happened before. On the first one, I may have clicked the answer key twice, because it showed that the site was "unresponsive". The second answer I only clicked once, but it posted twice. I will be very careful not to duplicate this positing.
These problems happen from time to time on all sites, I usually take time
out for revision until it rights itself . I suspect that the tecnico guys are
changing things around , it always returns bigger and better than ever .
As we say here " No worries mate, shell be right " !
And I am having this double posting problem, now let's see if it does it again.

Just an update as of this morning 4-04-2012, we seem to have resolved the issue. Please feel free to report any lingering effects. Have fun and message away amigos! 
I am having trouble with the page slowly loading, today. It is distracting and I am trying to get out some PM's so I'll keep trying.
I had a problem with this a week or so ago, I did report my findings through the feedback tab and someone did get in touch with me. Unfortunatley they were very unhelpful and sugested it was my fault, then when I wrote a second time again I got the same excuses. Actually due to the moderaters way of speaking with me and unhelpfullness I have not been on here since. This is my first vist to SD since and I see it still isnt resolved..... NOT GOOD!
I just sent a message to Feedback and it seemed to go through. I just started to post for the first time since this morning and it's taking forever and not getting through or posting twice. I hope this can be solved before the weekend. Thanks everyone.
