Is Ud. considered 2nd or 3rd person?
Why is Ud. classified as 2nd person when talking about subject pronouns but conjugated as 3rd person?

What? Usted is never 3rd person of singular.
- Tú, usted and vos are 2nd person of singular, but used in different levels of respect. Can you give me an example where you think it is used in the 3rd person of singular?
- Conjugated? Ud. cannot be conjugated because it is not a verb.
- Usted = Is a formal way to say "You"
- Ustedes = It is a formal way of saying "all of you" Ustedes
When you are addressing a person in Ud form you are of course addressing him/her as a second person as a form of respect/politeness to an older person or someone in authority, you may be at an interview perhaps but the verbs you would be using in your conversation are always conjugated in the third person, I hope that explanation helps.
I conjugate, you conjugate, he/she conjugates, we conjugate, they conjugate.
Why is I conjugated in the 2nd person and 3rd person plural? It's not, the verb endings are just the same...
El pronombre Usted es segunda persona, creo que la confusion viene que la conjugación es similar a Él (Ella) tercera persona
Ejemplo
Usted lee (segunda persona, similar a tú lees, pero sin tratamiento de distinción)
Él leé o Ella leé (tercera persona)
También se da en plural
Ustedes leén (segunda persona)
Ellos leén o Ellas leén (tercera persona)
Ud/él/ella. is always conjugated in the 3rd. person. Ud. is one of the 3rd person subject pronouns even though it means "you" which is 2nd person.
