"Be green"

Okay. So I am trying to figure out how to say be green as in recycling. I keep getting ser verde but I am not sure that is excatly right. Ayudame!

Hi Bobby,
I would say; "Conserva el medio ambiente". English lends itself to expressing a lot in a single word. Spanish requires more of an explanation.
