El verano pasado fui a Ucrania, mi país de origen. Fui allí por un mes. Volé en avión, el vuelo duró dieciséis horas. Este país está en en Europa, tiene la cultura e historia muy ricas. Fui a Ucrania para pasar tiempo con mis padres y mi hermana joven. Ella tenía dos meses cuando yo llegué y nesesitó mucha atención. Jugué con ella mucho y ayudé a mi mamá. Encanté pasar tiempo con mi familia mucho porque yo vivo en los Estados Unidos y no puedo pasar tiempo con ellos con frequencia. Yo también pasé tiempo con mis amigos. Fuimos al cine y pasamos un tiempo en la naturaleza. Me gusté la reunión con mis amigos mucho. Quiero visitar Ucrania este verano también.

Estuve [I was, not I went] allí durante [I was always corrected in my grammar classes to put "durante" in situations like this, but I was never sure why I couldn´t use por] un mes. Fui [I understand what you mean to say, but to just say "I went by plane" is much better] en avión y [you have two complete sentences here. Either put a period or an "and"] el vuelo duró dieciséis horas. Este país está en [you had two "en"s here] Europa; [you keep putting two complete sentences together with a comma. Make sure you use a semicolon or a conjunction] tiene una cultura e una historia muy ricas. Fui a Ucrania para pasar tiempo con mis padres y mi hermana pequeña [see notes below]. Ella tenía dos meses cuando yo llegué y nesesitaba [if you use preterite, it sounds like she needed a lot of attention in the moment that you arrived. If you use imperfect, then it sounds right because as a habit, babies need attention] mucha atención. Jugué con ella mucho y ayudé a mi mamá. Me encantó [encantar is used as a verb form that is like saying "it was charming to me" and therefore is conjugated based on what you found charming or what you liked] pasar tiempo con mi familia mucho porque yo vivo en los Estados Unidos y no puedo pasar tiempo con ellos con frequencia. Yo también pasé tiempo con mis amigos. Fuimos al cine y pasamos un tiempo en la naturaleza[see below]. Me gustó [again, it is conjugated by "la reunión" because that is what is pleasing to you] la reunión con mis amigos mucho. Quiero visitar Ucrania este verano también.
"joven" refers to someone in their teenage years to mid-twenties. If some is only two months old, they are "pequeña"
The sentence you said about la naturaleza sounds awkward. To make it seem less strange, tell me what you were doing with your friends. Did you go on a hike? Did you go camping? Write that instead of "we passed through nature" because it sounds odd.
