verb "hayar"

Anyone come across the verb "hayar" (or it may be "hayarse") anywhere? I came across it in a song and it is not in my print dictionary, nor the online dictionary I use, nor in any Google search (save appearing in the lyrics of the song from which I got it!). I know it is spelled correctly because I checked several different lyrics sites and listened very carefully to the song to confirm. I think it must have something to do with "encontrar" or "recordar" based on the context of the song.

Spanish gets spelled wrong all over the place, so don't be too quick to trust the lyrics you see on the internet. The word is "hallar" and you're right - it means "to find."
