Hola, I have a question. How do we use ''The rest of it'' in Spanish.
Por ejemplo,
''I have done my part, you should do the rest of it.''
OR another example is
''I have eaten two pieces of the cake, the rest of it is yours.''

We usually translate it as "el resto" (if we know what we are talking about):
"Yo ya he hecho mi parte, tú deberías hacer el resto"
"Me he tomado/comido dos trozos de la tarta, el resto es tuyo".
"La primera parte de la película fue muy interesante pero el resto fue muy aburrido"
"Estoy muy cansada. Mañana haré el resto de los ejercicios."
