"¡Qué cansina es!

"¡Qué cansina es!

I was wondering what the word "cansina" means. I have heard it in conversation as an adjective to describe people.

I looked it up in the dictionary here, and it says "worn by work" when referring to animals.

When referring to humans, does it mean "overworked?" I looked up "overworked" on SpanishDict, but cansina wasn´t one of the results...

I am trying to think of a contextual example for everyone that would help, but I am sorry that I can´t think of what we were specifically talking about when it came up!

Oh, and I am in Spain, so I don´t know if it is used elsewhere or not.

"Cansina/o" is like "tiresome" or "weary". "Que trabajo más cansino" - "what a tiresome job"

Referred to people is "annoying" (because being with someone that annoys you, drains your energy)

Although I still can´t remember the context, I think "annoying" sounds right. I remember thinking that "cansino" must be not a good thing to say about someone! :) - missy8888, Mar 22, 2012
