Is this above mentioned sentence correct? Shouldn't it be ¿Cuándo lo vas a llamar? or ¿Cuando vas a llamarlo ? Is "Leísmo " used here?

Muchas gracias por ayudarmesmile

Both are perfectly fine!

  • No, there is no "leísmo" here, but there is "loísmo" click on the following link for detailed explanation! Loísmo

That's a great link, Farallon. Where is Loísmo used? Some countries more than others? The link says central Spain, but I feel like I hear it quite a lot in place of "le." Thanks! - RedLine55, Mar 21, 2012

if i understand you correctly it looks like this: El lunes voy a llamar a Juan - i'm going to call Juan on monday - this "a" shows that Juan is an indirect object?

¿Cuándo vas a llamarle? ( accurate form without loísmo)

¿Cuándo vas a llamarlo (loísmo)

English is not my native language and I really don't want to learn these pronombres by rote smilesmile
