Universidad o Universitario
Please can someone tell me what the difference is between the two.
Also, in this sentence which one would I use?
Esta práctica laboral es muy importante si quisiera estudiar medicina en la universidad/universitario
Furthermore, does this sentence make sense and are there any errors?
Muchas Gracias

Universidad = University. I.E. University of Washington, I am going to University of Southern California, He works at the University of Colorado, etc.
Universitario = Universitary. I.E. Universitary Studies, Universitary Thesis, Universitary Library, etc.
Therefore, Esta práctica laboral es muy importante si quisiera estudiar medicina en la universidad ... de los Andes, del Valle, de Montemorelos, etc.
Simple difference.
Universidad= noun
Universitario/a= adjective.
The first one is a noun, and the second is an adjective that can be used to describe a noun. You could use the second as an adjective to describe university students, classes, dormitories, projects, etc...
Universidad - University
Universitario - estudiante universitario...
I have only heard universidad..you should just use that.
El está en lo correcto la respuesta es : Universidad.
I'm only familiar with universidad. That ones good for sure!
