maybe it's 'escapar' ? - Rey_Mysterio, Mar 20, 2012
maybe....then it would be something like; "I hope to escape this weekend", but I still don't get what "acia" means :) - OsoNoruega, Mar 20, 2012

The problem is that the sentence has too many spelling mistakes. The correct is: "Pues nada, me hacía ilusión escaparme este finde. ("Finde" is short to "Fin de semana", and accept it for some dicctionarys, by the way.)

Can you translate it now?

ahhh...thanks! acia = hacia (I should have seen that :P) BTW, it's sms from a friend in spain, so a lot of words are shortened.. - OsoNoruega, Mar 20, 2012
No te preocupes, con todas las palabras parecidas en español es fácil confundirse. - ytotrip, Mar 20, 2012

Thanks! I thought "yo pues nada" was more like "oh well" (resignation)?? - OsoNoruega, Mar 20, 2012
