Modifying your own flash cards

Is there a way to save or modify your own flash cards beside to continue re-submitting? I would like to save my own cards but I don't want to submit them until I have a chance to review them. (my first couple of sets were terrible) Sometimes, I would like to put in a partial list and as time permits add to them.

Hi, Pat, welcome to the forum.

¡No tengas pena!

You can modify/edit via a link on the left side of your set. Just click on the set you want to edit and make the changes. "Submit" only means that you've saved them, not that they are going to be published as "The Most Correct and Most Excellent Flashcards Ever!"

As you learn, go back and edit.

Also, if you'd like me to take a look and correct them...just send me a PM:

Hi Pat. Mariana has given you a great answer. Here is a flashcard set that tells you how to edit your flash cards.

Thanks, sanlee, with everyone's help I think I am ok now, but do you know what makes the cards 'double'. I wondered if possible I was to quick on the submit & wait step. - patc, Mar 18, 2012

I had a problem with flashcards before. Whenever I edit them, the number of words doubles. Another weird thing was, it saved on its own when I was idle or clicked another tab in my browser. Until it reached more than 100 and it's already impossible to save and submit. I'm not sure if that's how it really works here but it's a good thing that you keep lists, just in case. I had to delete mine and start all over again after that.

cheskassullivan, Thanks for sharing. I had that problem also. Hopefully, the note (next) from sanlee can help us both! - patc, Mar 18, 2012
