I believe that it is because calles is plural, but wait for a native speaker to be sure.

"Al pasaer por sus calles te trasladas al mundo del pasado."

This sentence is correct and using "te trasladas"is also correct because that's a way to conjugate the verb trasladar. In the sentence you are meaning:

"By walking through its streets you get to (move to, traslate to) the world of the past".

You aren't moving because the streets are pushing or pulling you, you are who is moving to those streets of the past just because you are walking there in the present.

In this case Get to means "to be transfered to", "move to" "to be traslated to". You are doing a mental abstract movement. It's just figurative, you are imagining the past world.

BUT because of your question I clarify to you that if you were meaning that are the streets which move to you to the past, then you shouldn't say "te traslada" because "calles" is plural, in that case you have to say "te trasladan" (They move to you)

Carlos.
