¿Es la madera para hacer la joyería, tales como pendientes o un broche?
Is it wood to make jewelry; such as dangling earrings or a brooch/broach?
Mercedes Benz? Banana?!
A banana is a plant. There's no such thing as banana wood. There's banana bark though. Is that what you're referring to? Now that I've thought about it, the patterns do look like dried banana bark pasted on wood.
???
Is it the age rings inside the tree?
Respuesta corta: una burl/nudo de un árbol?
Short answer: a burl from a tree?
A burl is a wart-like growth from the trunk or limb of a tree caused by a viral infection of the sapwood. They can grow very large, big enough to cut into slices and make table tops. They can be cut from the tree without harming it. Click here for wikipedia.org and near the bottom are more photographs.
Chesnut ?
Mahogony.
Walnut ?
Yes to all 3 of your answers, it looks like wood and it is wood.
But 'wood' is just a name for "the trunks or main stems of trees as suitable for architectural and other purposes; timber or lumber."
So you have to be more specific: what wood?
I think the base is wood but those patterns look like dried palm leaves plastered and varnished on top of it.
Just a wild guess. I'm probably wrong. :p
Driftwood found on the beach?
The second one from the left looks like oak to me, so I'll say they are oak.
I'd say that they are made from coconuts or cocoa shells.
Is it Bakelite ?
