everyday phrases

Question

Over 200,000 people have viewed "everyday phrases" yet it is replete with errors. Numerous repetitions and even an apparent concession that the originator could not find the proper Spanish for--I think--how can I help you? No one expects the overworked staff to clean up the mess all the time, but there should be some self-oversight which would counteract the natural reactions of those who find these expressions important.

If you are talking about the Flashcard sets (your comments aren't clear as to what you're talking about), they are created by the members and not the staff.

Isn't it possible that poorly created flashcards could cause people to learn wrong spanish , and therefore counteract the wonderful learning process that we have on this site? - Ox-Y-Gen, Mar 15, 2012

You have a valid point. However, you must realize that members have the freedom to create their own cards. You are warned that they may not be correct. Take a look at some senior members Flashcards--they can be trusted. - --Mariana--, Mar 15, 2012

Why doesn't SpanishDict have an "Add Comment" on Flashcards so people can comment and the owners can correct the errors. I don't think they make them on purpose. - readytodictate, Mar 16, 2012

Is this in reference to the flashcards? Because i also noted a very popular set that was way off base.

User Flashcards here are pretty good. One or two errors here and there. Would be nice if there was a way to tell the owners so they can correct the errorss - readytodictate, Mar 16, 2012
