Between that website and here i find everything i need to know. Mostly now i just reference to it because with the help of a lot of users, Spanishdict.com has become a learning powerhouse and i've yet to find a question that can't be answered here.

This guy is a highschool Spanish teacher. If you email him, he will answer your questions. He also has a channel on youtube and I have subscribed to it. He makes up practice test sheets and is totally involved in teaching the language. You do not have to be a student of his to have him answer you. However, I'd keep the questions I have succinct as a matter of courtesy. He will also reply to questions you pose on youtube as well as by email.

I have spent a lot of time w/ the FSI program; I've downloaded all of the 4 books (the 1st one is 700 pages!) & have instant access to the tapes that synchronize w/ the 1st 3 books as well. But the native speaker speaks way too fast so I've given up on that. The books are pretty good & the trick is to stay with it (which has been difficult for me). The other issue is dealing w/ speech idioms from 50 years ago that are simply not used anymore (the "basic" series, which is the only complete course, was produced in 1957 & revised in 1961; the later "progammatic" was dscontinued after the first 2 levels).
The other websites mentioned here are great. The one not mentioned that everyone should use is "News in Slow Spanish"

You are probably right about the idioms but the basic parts of the spanish language don't change that much. FSI is a great testing tool for grammar and sentence structure (over a thousand questions with answers) - readytodictate, Mar 15, 2012

Personally, I've grown to love learntalk.org/es They have a unique way of teaching Spanish! Instead of using online flashcards or such, they have online tutors that you set up a meeting with, and they'll teach you whichever category you choose between conversation starters, romance, quick questions, etc. I'm just saying, it's one of the fastest ways to learn, so you'll definitely like LearnTalk!
