Pero nos movíamos muy lentamente y no nos acercamos a la orilla hasta pasado el faro de Winterton, donde la costa hace una entrada hacia el oeste en dirección a Cromer.

  1. In my mind after hasta it should be pasar, So why here is pasado ?This is one sentence from LAS AVENTURAS DE ROBINSON CRUSOE.

pasado its past tense because you are talking about the past,what you were doing

In this case, "pasado" means "after" or "past."

The sentence translates as follows:

"But we moved very slowly and we did not approach the shore until after the Winterton lighthouse, where the coast makes an entry westward towards Cromer."
