Proof-read my Spanish 1 Assignment?

Question

I have my Spanish 1 assignment for high school done, just need to know if it's correct. My teacher doesn't like to proof-read our stuff, so we usually have to turn it in without knowing if its right or not. It's about chores, and having two children and an adult.

It's a script, and we have to act it out tomorrow. Thanks so much, very glad I found this site.

Kayla: ¡Adios hijos! Yo regreso al las seis de la noche.

Shanina: ¡Adios mádre!

Kayla: Recuerden sus quehaceres este en el refrigerador.

Tyler: ¿Cuales nuestro quehaceres?

Shanina: Los quehaceres son concinar, pon la mesa, quitar el polvo, y pasar la aspiradora.

Tyler: ¡Ay caramba! Vamos a esperar un rato antes de comenzar.

Shanina: Si, estoy de acuerdo. ¿Tú quieres ver la television?

~Tres horas mas tarde~

Tyler: Nos estamos quedando sin tiempo. Tenemos que empezar ahora los quehaceres.

Shanina: Yo voluntad empezar minas mas tarde.

~Curanta y cinco minutos mas tarde~

Tyler: Nuestro mádre sera a casa en quince minutos.

Shanina: ¡Yo necesitando concinar y pon la mesa!

Tyler: Ya me meti mina hecho. !Divertirse!

~Quince minutos mas tarde~

Kayla: ¡Yo estoy en casa! Yo espero que todo sus quehaceres esten terminados.

Tyler: Shanina no es hecho.

Shanina: ¡Mis quehaceres son hecho!

Kayla: ¿Son ellos realmente?

Shanina: No, solo la mitad son hecho.

Kayla: ¿Por qué usted solo consiguio medio hecho?

Shanina: No tengo sufficiente tiempo

Kayla: ¡Te tenia cuatro horas!

Tyler: Ella estaba viendo TV.

Kayla: ¿Y tú Tyler?

Tyler: Si, yo quitar el polvo y pasar la aspiradora.

Kayla: Muy bien.

It looks like you've done well, why don't you start by removing the unneccesary personal pronouns because that's a sure sign of not being a native if you use them when they're not needed. ;) eg yo regreso, you don't need the yo - Kiwi-Girl, Mar 14, 2012

Things to remember...

• "más" has an accent in this usage. Don´t forget it!
• remember verbs. You don´t always have them in your sentences. Or, sometimes you do but don´t conjugate them. Make sure you conjugate them!
• adjectives and pronouns should match the nouns in gender and quantity. "mis quehaceres" is right. "mi quehaceres" is wrong.
• madre never has an accent!
• "poner" is the infinitive of the word. "pon" is not.
• When you think a verb should be ser or estar, stick with your choice. You often switch between ser and estar when you are referring to the same thing. For example, when you are talking about the chores being done, you say "son hechos" then in the next sentence "está hecho" etc.
• You also switch between Ud and Tú form throughout. Choose who will be speaking in tú and who will be speaking in Ud, then make sure you stay consistent!

And quehaceres are masculine and plural, so this should be masculine and plural. Also, it has "los" in front of it because it is replacing a noun here.] más [accent!!!] tarde.

If so, it should say "Ya hice los míos" or "Ya he terminado los míos" or "Ya he hecho los míos." If they making someone do something, then it should say "Te (or Se, if it´s Usted) mito a ti (a Ud) a hacer los míos"] ¡Divertirse! [start with an upside-down exclamation mark. And this needs to be conjugated. Right now it says "to have fun!". If you want to say "Have fun" in Ud form, it should say "Diviértase" or if it is tú form, then "diviértete"

Kayla: ¡Yo estoy en casa! Yo espero que todos [chores are plural, this should be too] sus quehaceres esten terminados.

Tyler: Shanina no los ha hecho. [I know you want to say "She is not done" here, but when you use hacer, you usually aren´t directly referring to a person. In this case, you are saying her chores are not done, not that she is not done. Therefore, you say "los ha hecho" los refers to the chores, and "ha hecho" means has done, referring to Shanina]

Shanina: ¡Mis quehaceres están hechos [now you can use the form you wanted to use above, because here it makes sense. But "hechos" has to be plural, because it is referring to a plural word, chores]!

Kayla: ¿Están hechos [Estar should be used here. Don´t switch back and forth from ser and estar.] realmente?

Shanina: No, solo la mitad está hecho.

Kayla: ¿Por qué usted solo consiguió medio hecho [This is oddly worded. It would be better to say "Por qué usted sólo hizo la mitad?" Meaning "Why did you only do half"]
