Another great way to practice listening comprehension is to listen to cooking videos in Spanish. Chucheman has hundreds of them. Here I will give you a couple. Listen and try to add some new vocabulary as well has learn some traditional Mexican ways of cooking.

Great idea, Gringojrf. I watched the chili de arbol video, that stuff looks fierce. I found that I could understand a lot of unfamiliar vocabulary in context to what he was doing. Thanks for the post.

Yes the contesxt helps and if you watch them several times it helps even more. And yes the chili is fierce. But delicious. I can't live without it. But making it drives everyond out of the house for an hour or two. - gringojrf, Mar 15, 2012
