I knew it. The only people I can understand when they speak Spanish are from Northern Mexico. Maybe because I live in Texas and my work's mother company is in Monterrey. These are the people I am experienced speaking in Spanish with. - kdrinning, Mar 17, 2012

This was great. Thanks a lot. It does remind me that not all spanish speaking people I hear are hard for me to understand. Do you know where she is from? Since I mainly having experience with Northern Mexico, it would not surprise me if she were from there.
