Reflexive verbs indicate that the subject and the direct object are the same. In Spanish, instead of saying "I bathe" as we would in English, you would say "I bathe myself." or "Bañarse".

You can tell when a verb is reflexive by the subject and direct object being the same. And, a reflexive verb ends in "se". But, be careful. Not all verbs ending in "se" are reflexive.

Except that it may be either the direct or indirect object. For example: I brush my hair. Me cepillo el cabello. The direct object is hiar and the indirect object is myself. - gringojrf, Mar 13, 2012
