My first poem that I made
I am a little nervous about doing this, but hear goes... my first poem that I wrote.
Puedo ser tú mal enemiga y puedo ser tú bien amiga. Puedo ser tú partidaria y tú critica. Tú puede me odian y amor me, pero tú puede nunca salir me. Estoy tú.
I can be your worst enemy and I can be your best friend. I can be your greatest supporter and your worst critic. You can hate me and love me, but you can never leave me. I am you.
Gracias a todos. Please don't laugh! Also, I hope you guys dont mind my numerous poems and things....

Of course, we don't laugh, Kat!! You did a great job ![]()
Mi sugerencia:
Puedo ser tu peor enemiga y (puedo ser) tu mejor amiga.
Puedo ser tu mayor partidaria y tu peor crítica.
Puedes odiarme y amarme,
pero nunca (podrás) dejarme. Soy tú. ![]()
I am not laughing KatRJ far from it you are doing a great job . I have found
learning Spanish one of the most difficult things that I have ever done ,
and trying to translate into another language ones thoughts and feelings
as one does in poetry ,and especially free verse is just so daunting that
I am as near to giving up as I was 1 year ago. So I hope you continue for
I think that you have a better understanding of the language than I have.

Bien hecho y buena suerte.

Beautiful!
Puedo ser tu [tú means you, tu means your] peor [peor means worst, mal means bad] enemiga y puedo ser tu mejora [mejor means best, bien means good] amiga.
Puedo ser tu mayor [greatest] partidaria y tu peor [worst] crítica [don´t forget the accent].
Tú puedes [2nd person plural conjugation] odiarme y amarme [a conjugated verb is usually followed by infinitive verbs. Here, I tacked the direct object, "me" at the end of each one.], pero tú no [Spanish is famous for double and sometimes triple negatives to get their point across] puedes dejarme [dejar means to leave behind, whereas salir is to exit/leave] nunca.
Soy tú.
Welldone, Katy! Just keep doing it!
