Hey, can somebody help me with the following sentence?

What are you up to? What do I reply when somebody says that sentence to me?

While this expression is common in american english it would not carry the same meaning if translated directly into spanish. You would generally ask this question in a more direct way "What have you done recently?" ¿Qué has hecho últimamente?

What are you up to.... has a few meanings itself. One way of saying it for one meaning, in Spanish is the simple ¿Qué haces?

Well, it really kind of means, what have you been up to, or, what have you been doing. Sometimes just more like ¨how are you¨

You can more or less think of it like ¨¿Qué pasa?¨ and answer anything you would to that question. Functionally, it´s a pretty direct equivalent to ¨¿Qué pasa?¨

hope that helps Roger

Welcome to the forum!

"Not much" = "No mucho" is the simplest answer.
