El Subjuntivo Pasado

Tengo miiiilll preguntas sobre el subjuntivo y me preguntaba si alguien podría ayudarme....
Bueno, primero, ya sé cómo conjugar el subjuntivo en el presente. No necesito una lección de cuando se conjuga los verbos.
Pero me confundo cuando se usa el subjuntivo pasado. Creo que se llama el "subjuntivo imperfecto?"
Ya sé que se lo usa con cosas hypoteticas, o algo así.
Si tuviera un Lamborghini, nunca lo manejaría porque yo tendría miedo de chocarlo.
Pero no sé si puedo usarlo en esta frase.... Si tuviera tú (Si tuviera ti??), yo lo compraría. (If I were you, I would buy it.)
Mi conjetura es sí, porque claro que no puedo ser quien eres tú..
Bueno, en esta frase, usamos el pasado, sin duda. Pero en inglés, vemos que es intercamiable entre el pasado regular, y el pasado del subjuntivo.
If there was one more week of school.... If there were one more week of school.....
pero no creo que sea lo mismo en español
Si era una semana más de escuela. Si fuera una semana más de escuela.

Ok first one
"tú" its ok, but " tí " doesn't exist in spanish the correct is " ti " (without... amm how u call in english to the acento ? Tilde?)
The correct translation for "If I were you..." in a natural spanish is "Si fuera tu, lo compraría"
This is advanced spanish and is very difficult, in the second example the correct tranlation is:
"Si hubiera una semana más de escuela"
" Hubiera " refeerrs to things that never happen, and never could happen,
" Fuera " refers to taking the position of other person, animal or object, or for doing an action in a future.

First off, hipotético = hypothetical.
Now about the example with the car...
Yo que tú, compraría ese coche. - If I were you, I would by that car.
"Si (yo) fuera tú..." is also completely appropriate here.
About the school example...
There so many meanings and idiomatic usages for "haber" that it needs it's own lesson, but here is a limited list.
It can mean "to exist, to be," and "to have (as an auxiliary verb)."
No hay más. - There is no more.
Let's apply this to your example.
Si hubiera una semana más de escuela... - If there were another week of school...

La traduccion correcta para If I were you, I would buy it es: si yo fuera tú, lo compraría. Que significaría algo parecido a : Si estuviera en tu lugar, lo compraría.
