¡Buf! ¡Ay!
In Spain ¡Buf! is a pretty common word (or sound effect?), much like ¡Ay!
In English we use Ugh Ouch/Ow
and in Spanish they use "Ay"
I hear "Buf" all the time and it completely makes sense in context, but it is hard to put into words. It's kind of like a sigh, or a surprised "wow," like when someone tells you that you won't get your package in the mail until next year. " *eyes widen * ¡BUF! ¡Qué fuerte!"
Anyone else have definitions for this onomatopoeia/interjection or any others they´d like to add?
