It's impossible to know which one to use without context. Do you have an example of where one should be chosen...homework, perhaps?

Voy a la tienda

Vamos a las tiendas

al, a los, a la, or a las

al - a + el = use this if the noun that follows it is masculine singular

a los = use this one if the noun that follows it is masculine plural

a la = use this one if the noun that follows it is feminine singular

a las = use this one if the noun that follows it is feminine plural

I'm borrowing Farallon's great examples to show you:

•Voy al colegio. el colegio (masculine and singular)

•Vamos a los museos. los museos (masculine & plural)

•Vaya a la casa. la casa (feminine and singular)

•Venga a las 3:00 de la tarde. las tres (feminine and plural)
