La aula is a classroom. Is that what you mean?

"El aula" is used a lot in Spain, Argentina, and possibly other places. Most of the native speakers I interact with use "la sala de clase", and think "el aula" sounds strange. It just depends where you live. In my part of the U.S. most of the Spanish speakers are from México, The Caribbean, Central/South America.
