Well,

We know that Me gusta means I like, and me gustan means I like (plural).

So the answer is Yo quiseria contratar un jardinero.

This is what my Spanish Teacher taught us.

And "Me gustaría" would be "I would like". "Quisiera" and "Me gustaría" are both acceptable :o) - Goldie_Miel, Mar 7, 2012
