Husband: esposo (LA); marido (Spain)

Bug: bicho; insecto (in parts of the Carribean, "bicho" is considered a slang name for a man's private parts, so best not to use when you go to the islands.)

Language: idioma, lenguaje, lengua

Addition:

Wife: esposa (LA); mi mujer (Spain) In Spain "esposa" means "handcuffs." Seriously.
