Indefinido o Imperfecto
"Excelente, Luciano, vengo de un concierto en la Scala de Milán, con el teatro completamente colmado y mi actuación fue/era realmente fabulosa. Tuve que salir a saludar 35 veces, y una estatua....."
That's from one exercise... And I really can't say which one should I put here - Imperfecto or Indefinido... I would be really grateful to anyone who explains which one of the two forms is the correct one and why.
I think that it is "fue", but I'm not sure.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'd go with "fue" because it was one action, one point in time.
The correct answer is "fue" Im sure of it. But i dont know how explain you why because Im native i dont know many rules i only use it xD.
Anyway, we ussually use "era" for anthing that past long time ago and "fue" for anthing that past in short time ago.
