Indefinido o Imperfecto

Indefinido o Imperfecto

That's from one exercise... And I really can't say which one should I put here - Imperfecto or Indefinido... I would be really grateful to anyone who explains which one of the two forms is the correct one and why.

I think that it is "fue", but I'm not sure.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'd go with "fue" because it was one action, one point in time.
