General discusion?

How come there is not a general catogry for the q&a anymore?

How can we give help and advice if we dont have one?

I don't see the harm in having a General Discussions category.

I actually really miss the Apoyo Island and the International Café. After posting day after day, you get to know the folks and it's nice to see what everyone is up to. It was also a good place to get some encouragement. I didn't use it that much but I enjoyed it.

Estoy de acuerdo; a general topic area (with guidelines regarding repeating the scandals found in cheap tabloids) is a nice thing to have. Promueve los intentos de utilizar el idioma en un ambiente informal y una manera más coloquial. And I hope that I have not mangled my Spanish again with this attempt ....
