Hola amigos smile

I have done a presentation for school, based on this text that you can find here: http://www.spanishdict.com/answers/225037/pandemia-de-obesidad-en-espaa

I was woundering if someone please could help me think of possible questions my teacher might ask me about it?

ALSO, according to me, the text is a little bit long. What should I remove? What's irrelevant? :S

THANKS for the help, guys!

Here is my presenation (enjoy):

Igualmente, no hacen suficiente ejercicio.

I have just read your text and even though it really is long, I did not find any parts that are irrelevant.
If you want to shorten it, however, you could leave out: "Sobre el 50% .... tres padece obesidad" in the first paragraph because your presentation is about (the problem of)obesitas in Spain.

I have not read your other text yet. But this text is interesting, informative and entertaining (though tragic).

If I was your teacher I could ask you:
- What references/sources have you used?
- Do you have any personal experiences with obesitas or obese people?
- Do you think it can or will be solved? Or will it get even worse?
- Don't you think children spend more time in front of their computers than in front of televisions?
- What is healthy food? Why is it important (apart from preventing obesitas)?

I will now read the other text. Maybe I come back to you after that wink

Good questions to anticipate, especially the one about healthy food. Eat more vegetables that are not fried in a ton of oil! - Pablo-Peligroso, Mar 5, 2012

I have now read the original text and I think you have made a good summary of it. You haven't really missed any crucial information. Original text says something about obesitas in relation to poverty, but you do mention that greasy food is much cheaper than healthy, fresh food.

Good luck! And let us all or me (private message wink know how it went.

I didn't think it was too long. The problem is huge and complex. If you are going to do it justice then this is not a long text. You provided some interesting stats. The Mexico one and the one about the infants in Spain, those are very worrying stats for a society.

It seemed well written to me, but I'm not a good writer so take that with a grain of salt.
