• ¡Por favor no toque el refrigerador! This is the term that I hear my Mexican friends use.

• You can use "toques or toqués" ..... en vez de toque. It depends on the level of respect or even cultural you have with the person you are talking to.

You can use "toques or toqués" ..... en vez de toque. It depends on the level of respect or even cultural you have with the person you are talking to.

"Toqués" is mainly Argentinian Spanish. There might be a few other countries that use such variant, but unless you are going to visit one of them, it's not very useful, and even if you are going to one of them, they understand the usual informal second person. It only gets you more confused, stick to "toques".

Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Uruguay, and a few others. Remember, if you go visit one of these countries, they will speak to you that way and it would be a good idea for them to know it. - farallon7, Mar 4, 2012
