Don't forget to vote!
This is a message to all..
Please let us not forget to vote up people on questions. Back in the day we would see many votes but now we rarely see over 3. Its essential to vote up especially all beginners to welcome them and get them started off on the right note.

This is a very good point. I know it helped me to feel more a part of the community. I also see some questions remain unanswered for too long. We all need to be sure and let people know that what they have to say is important. When it comes to learning, there are no dumb questions.
This is so true. A vote costs nothing. And it really helps to boost confidence. Why not leave a comment, too. If you see someone with no reputation points, at least give them a vote so they can get PM's. Thanks.
It is easier to vote on SD than choose from the "multitude" of presidential candidates next week.
Great reminder, Brady!
I vote for:
1) Newbies, especially when they say "Thank you for the help," just to give them encouragement and to welcome them to the forum.
2) All good questions, games, and answers by any member.
3) Myself. (jejejej, just kidding, I have friends who will do that for me)
Obama and Romney agree on one thing....
"Voting on Spanishdict is a good thing for America" (actual quote from the candidates)

Every once in awhile this question needs to be bumped back up to remind all the new SD members that voting really helps encourage others in this website.
If you ask a question, it is always helpful to vote for those answers you find helpful. Everyone volunteers their time to answer and it is an easy way to show appreciation for their answer or their help.
I stood in line for 5 hours yesterday at the polls. It was well worth the wait. Now all I need to do is wait and see what happens on November 6th.
Vote early and vote often is my motto..... it is a great way of showing support for our fellow students.
¡Bien dicho, amigo!
Well said, my friend! Sometimes it's very easy to forget to give other people votes here who write good responses,.especially the beginners! Everyone needs to receive encouragement when they post good answers, so it's only a matter of courtesy and respect to thank them by giving them a vote!
Don't delay .......vote today!
Points are a great way to welcome folks and to show appreciation for the time put into games and challenges. It encourages those who take the time to answer questions for their input. It also shows that someone actually noticed and read the answer which encourages folks to answer even more.
I thought we were about to discuss American politics. However, this is an important reminder. Voting helps indicate what you think is correct and pushes it to the top where others can see! ![]()

This was posted back in March and served as a good reminder. Here in November it's well worth reading and acting upon! Thanks, Brady! You, too, Franco; I saw your post, too.
I love it when I get to answer a question and help someone else!! This place has helped me before and I make sure to vote on them!!
Worth bumping up since voters seem to be quite rare lately.
On games, voting for the person before you encourages them that someone saw their post and appreciated it & keeps the game going. If someone's profile shows they only 'get voted up' up but never 'vote up', it makes me wonder why should someone conserve votes. Obviously not voting for completely wrong answers should not be encouraged.
Voting for good answers on your questions, encourages those who take the time to answer your questions to continue doing so.
As a matter of respect and gratitude ,
Give your fellow members a vote please !
