Hello andrew. Welcome to Q&A. I'm not sure if this is a question, as it sounds more like a statement. Putting it correctly in English is: 'I am having a hard time with maths. I would like some help'. Translated into Spanish might be: 'Estoy teniendo un tiempo difícil con matemáticas. Quisiera alguna de ayuda'. Corrections welcome. Regards...Jool.

Not quite. The word "math" would not be plural. It would simply be "I am having a hard time with math", no "s". - bcbeach, Mar 3, 2012

In the 'Oxford English Dictionary' the word 'mathematics' is also treated as singular. A little bit like 'sheep', the plural of which is...'sheep'! - jool, Mar 4, 2012
