When you use the subjunctive, and use a direct object pronoun, (such as, if i were you) where would you put the te? Or is there another way?

What exactly do you mean?

If I were you = Si [yo] fuera/fuese tú

If I had given you my heart - Si [yo] te hubiera/hubiese dado mi corazón

Also another way to say this is "Yo que fuera tú, .............." and shorter yet "Yo que tú ...."

But in either case, it´s "tú" and not "te."
