Buen comes before masculine singular nouns, but not buena nor bueno:

Bueno or buena comes after masculine nouns(un hombre bueno, la ropa buena), , or it can be used by itself to mean "Well" or "Good", or as an adjective. ~~~ muy bueno. or as a superlative (lo bueno, **el bueno), or grouping (Ios buenos están allí*)

The plural forms, buenos and buenas can be used both before and after plural nouns or as adjectives, or as pronouns by themselves.
