The main reason for this site

Question

I have read several posts about earning rep. points. I agree it is nice to have them to do various things on here. However, my concern is that we need to focus on our learning Spanish/English. This site is a learning site first and foremost.

I have found that if you concentrate on learning and participating in the Q&A, your reputation points will accumulate quickly.

I have found that if you concentrate on learning and participating in the Q&A, your reputation points will accumulate quickly.

Because of time zones and work schedules some members are not able to post early. I'd like to see more members going thru the Q & A category the next day, click on newest, and remember to vote up, not only those you personally know, but also those who are showing effort. This will help those points to accumulate quickly and at the same time continue to learn new things about the poster and how they are learning. This all helps us as individuals to learn.

Agreed! We need to support those who are focused on learning and helping others learn. The reason for the point system is for just this! Please remember to reward those who participate with high quality posts by voting them up.
