Where did everybody go?

Question

I just got back to my computor from taking spanish lessons in Mexico and could not wait to see everyone on the forum. It is like the rapture happened and I got left out. Heidita, don't go. Then everyone will fix their avatars and the world will be the same.

Welcome back from your Mexican immersion! I hope you picked up many things from being there!

Sadly many things have happened and our experienced natives are no longer around. :( And the threads are not as fun as they were, now with many rules and no more 'general discussion' area for the random things we encounter in our studies.

Alot of people including myself got booted from using the chat because of not earning enough reputation points. But,.. you can earn them quickly.

I felt the same when I returned recently. Its certainly does not have the same feel.

Lots of us are still here (Hello!!)...focusing on learning Spanish and English.

I agree with Nikki--we will certainly get back to "normal" again and have a great community of learners.
