what's-his-name
Is there a word or phrase in Spanish for "what's-his-name?" As in, "I'll never forget old what's-his-name." In German, they say "Herr X." Any thoughts anybody??

I don´t think that there would be phrase like that in Spanish, although maybe there is, but if you want to use something similar, like guy for example "I´m never going to forget that guy" or something like that, they use "tipo" a lot. For example "Y de repente, este tipo enorme entra en el bar y se sienta a mi lado" Then translation is "and all of the sudden this huge guy comes into the bar and sits down next to me". I hope this helps, although i would like to know if you ever find a better translation for "what´s his name"
No I don't have any thoughts but this is an interesing question. I'm keeping my eye on this.
