Reputation Point Conundrum
I did a search and can't find that this has been addressed. I don't seem to be able to earn any reputation points. I simply want to be able to participate in the Spanishdict chat and for that I need 30 points.
When I look at the ways for earning points, most of them are beyond my limited (beginner) capacity. It does say, however, that I can obtain a point for each answer on which I vote. Okay, but when I go to vote, it says I don't have enough reputation points to vote!
Sounds like a Catch 22! Does anyone know how can I earn 30 points so that I can participate in the chat? (And please don't refer me to the "Reputation Points" page as that is what prompted the dilemma in the first place.)
I'd appreciate any advice.

Sorry, but you´ll just have to wait till someone else votes on your answers or on your questions. Maybe you can try out the questions in the games section, that way you can try getting a few votes for some easy games and learn Spanish at the same time, since a lot of times they put corrections to the answers there. They just put a game up for the word of the day today, so maybe you could try that out really quickly.
I can definitely understand your frustration. You want to be an active participant yet you can't as of now. Good luck and I hope my vote helps you!!
See you around the forum.
Well, I voted up your question. I think you get 10 points for that.
I hope you are able to get an answer to your question. You might want to also try using the red "Feedback" button on the right.
Good luck!
Oh my! I just checked my reputations points and I now have the minimum 30 thanks to posting this question and your generous help. Thank you all! I'm off to chat!
Yes, you do. Hope to see you there soon
Me too!!!
