Is it correct to say ''me gusta bañarse'' or ''me gusta b añarme '' ? Thank you

This is not correct. It's either "me gusta bañarme" (talking about yourself) or "le gusta bañarse" (talking about somebody else).

It depends on whom you're bathing. If you yourself have a bath ; Me gusta bañarme.

I'm just a bystander and now I am confused. Why is it incorrect to say:

Me gusta bañarse = It pleases me to bathe.

Or

Me gusta bañarme = It pleases me to bathe myself.

Don't they essentially me the same thing?

¡Hola nina! Welcome to Q&A. Personally, I would say "Me gusta bañarse". (I like to bathe). You have already stated that it is 'You' who likes to bathe by putting the pronoun 'me' at the beginning of the phrase, so there's no need to use it again. Hope this is of some help. Regards...Jool.

So...we could say:

(A mí) me gusta bañarme.

(A ti) te gusta bañarte.

(A usted) le gusta bañarse.

(A él/ella) le gusta bañarse.

(A nosotros/nosotras) nos gusta bañarnos.

(A vosotros/vosotras) os gusta bañaros.

(A ustedes) les gusta bañarse.

(A ellos/ellas) les gusta bañarse.

In these cases you just have to remebber that the two languages approach the subject in different ways. In English ist' obviously yourself you're going to bathe..

In Spanish this is less obvious, you have to say who you're going to bathe.

. If you're going to be upset by this, you might as well give up!

Okay, but Cordobesa didn't post an answer, just a comment saying "both" are right but I can't tell to which "both" the comment refers!

el/ella/ellos/ellas/usted/ustedes are the only people who can "bañarse" Speaking about yourself you have to say, (A mi) me gusta bañarme, and if you are bathing someone else, you cannot use the reflexive "se" you will have to use "lo" or "la" (A mi) me gusta bañarla.
