Taking "close-mindedness" I'd say the correct way to write it would be closed-minded because "close" means "near in English whereas "closed" means cerrado.
Anyway leaving the role of pedagogue aside 
I guess closed-mindedness translates as intolerante
As for "parochialism" that would be a word looking for a root that comes from provincial or pueblo. How about provinciana or pueblerina as the SpanishDict dictionary says? Yesterday I was speaking to a guy from Cadiz who used the word incultos to describe some people as small-minded and feral.

"close-mindedness" = mente cerrada, cerrazón
